Thiago Oliveira and Gabriela Mendonça, professionals with great knowledge of the Portuguese and European markets, are joining the agency's Lisbon unit as partners. Gabriela, who will be responsible for face-to-face service and new business, is Brazilian, journalist and publicist, graduated from PUC in Rio de Janeiro and based in Lisbon for four years, founder of Wemotion Productions. Also located in Lisbon, Wemotion specializes in the production of videos and digital content for the European market, based on digital and content marketing. In 2018, he also founded the content marketing agency Good Content Portugal. She has been a television correspondent, reporter, producer and editor for channels such as SporTV (TV Globo), Redevida and Rede Bandeirantes de Televisão (BAND).
Thiago Oliveira, a Brazilian who has already lived in Portugal, is responsible for the operating strategy of the new unit and also for new businesses. Thiago works in Rio de Janeiro in the management of the e-commerce Super Healthy Shopping, a client of the agency in Brazil. Thiago is also responsible for special projects at MedLevensohn distributor - also account for 1121.
The other partners of the Portuguese unit are Gustavo Bastos, Diego Crisóstomo and Janice Pereira, partners of 1121 in Brazil.
1121 currently has units in São Paulo and Rio, where it serves clients such as MedLevensohn, Rio Carioca Beer, Super Healthy Shopping, Cookielab, Meimei School, ACT Health Promotion, Hotline, Radio Tupi, Techint Engenharia, O Dia and Newspapers Half an hour, AE Jóias, Jurema Magazine, Modal Mídia, among others.
Má Lingua, Por + 1 Sorriso and Amô Gin are the first brands with a campaign already approved to go live next month, in digital, offline and social media. But other agreements are to come, both from clients in Portugal and from Brazilian brands operating in Europe.
Por +1 Sorriso is a Brazilian NGO that is expanding its operations to Portugal. It acts in the intermediation of donations from companies and individuals to various institutions, mainly in the fight against hunger. “Each campaign aims to collect what each place needs and then we prepare to deliver. Much more than just delivering donations, our main objective is to be in contact with these people, who need to receive affection and love! We give volunteers the experience of experiencing moments with these people in need of affection.”
Má Lingua is a Restaurant, Bar, a place of meetings and thoughts in the Graça neighbourhood, in Lisbon. In the reopening and preparation for the European summer, the house looked to 1121 to launch a new concept and communication to attract not only people from Lisbon, but tourists from all over Europe who are starting to circulate in the summer holidays, with advanced vaccination and first signs of opening.
Amô Gin is a sachet of spices for the preparation of drinks with gin and will also launch a campaign preparing for the high consumption in the summer, both at events and at the end consumer.
Initially, the creation of campaigns will be carried out in Brazil, at the units in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, and adapted by local partners.
